Toad Hall Nursery

 

 

 

Toad Hall Nursery is situated within the grounds of Pinewood Film Studios near the village of Iver Heath.  We are a play based nursery which allow children to explore and grow within a calm, secure and exciting environment.  With a maximum of 42 children a day a family atmosphere is created with the nursery. We have 3 main rooms catering for children aged 3 months – 5 years.  The nursery is in a quiet location within the studios.

The baby room with its qualified caring staff will look at every child’s individual needs and ensure each child receives all the attention and cuddles they could want. We can take up to 9 babies every day and they have fun playing peek a boo or making patterns in the paint.

Once your child has found their feet they will venture in to the toddler room where their key carer will develop individual play activities to ensure your child reaches their true potential.  The children will begin to explore the world in greater detail and activities will concentrate on learning through all their senses.

The Pre – school room allows the children to acquire all the necessary skills for entering school life.  The children participate in a range of activities from learning foreign languages to spending time cooking with friends.  Their whole day at nursery is full with meaningful activities to engage the children 

Facilities
All food provided is freshly prepared on site daily ensuring that all dietary requirements can be accommodated.  Meal times are seen as social occasions where children are able to enjoy conversation whilst still developing other important skills.  Within our toddler and Pre–school rooms the children are encouraged to serve themselves and develop good table manners.  Good nutrition is not only important for a child’s health but also enables the child to have the energy to develop as a whole.

The nursery benefits from a large secure garden where vegetables grow and children can watch squirrels and rabbits play.  All rooms have direct access to a garden so all the children are able to enjoy the great outdoors daily.

We have a well established qualified staff team caring for all the children within the nursery.  All staff attend additional training whilst at Toad Hall including first aid and food safety training, to ensure the care they provide is of the highest standard.
