At Toad Hall Nursery we believe that quality early learning and childcare comes from a positive learning environment – vibrant rooms and spacious gardens to learn and play in.
We take great pride in our nursery settings. Each nursery is different – some of our settings are in modern buildings, whereas some are old school houses. However, what they do have in common is a fantastic learning environment! We are constantly reviewing how children learn and develop – we use our own knowledge and experience to create a day nursery that offers the best early learning and childcare approach.
It’s important that children can learn and play on their own and together, indoors and outdoors. All of our nurseries follow well-established Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and programmes on education and play. We believe that the EYFS curriculum helps us provide a quality environment, allowing your child to grow and develop in a safe and stimulating space. See more about our approach to EYFS nursery education.
Creating a learning environment that promotes fun and engagement with children is so important to their development. As a team, we work together to understand what equipment is needed for each of the settings – whether it is a sand pit, play kitchen, or even old wellington boots to let the children plant flowers in! Take a look at our nurseries in Bedfordshire and Surrey for an idea of how we work.
We believe that giving your child a positive and effective learning experience should not be a luxury. This is why we provide childcare funding support and advice, so children from all backgrounds can benefit from quality early learning and childcare. When visiting one of our local day nurseries, ask the Nursery Manager to show you all the rooms and explore how the children learn.
