A real life insight
We spoke to some of our team members at Toad Hall to give you an insight into how they feel about their career. If you’re interested in working with us, check out careers at Toad Hall.
Daniel Arnell is an Early Years Practitioner who has worked with us for three years. He said, “I enjoy how each day is different and how when working with children, you can be anything you want to be. I got into childcare on a whim after working in retail, which for me had no challenges or excitement. I completed my level 3 qualification and have never looked back!” Daniel’s future aspirations include completing a BA honours degree and eventually moving onto primary teaching. Daniel says he’s “passionate, imaginative and one word that many children have called me… AWESOME!”
Victoria Bacon is a Team Leader who has worked with us for three years. She told us, “My favourite thing about the job is working with my team in Little Blossoms. I started my career by completing a level 3 qualification and a degree. I tried teaching first then moved into nurseries. In the future I hope to further my career in childcare.” Victoria describes herself as “funny, bubbly and organised”.
Nicole Kalinski has been a Team Leader at Toad Hall for two years. She says, “I studied childcare 10 years ago and worked as bank staff for a while. I enjoy the environment and challenges that come with the role, I work with a great team and look forward to what each day brings.” Although she has achieved her initial career ambitions she hopes to take the next step in the future. Nicole describes herself as “determined, optimistic and willing”.
