We were very excited to welcome local MP, Richard Harrington and some of the staff from Hertfordshire children’s services to our Watford nursery on Friday 18th November for a coffee morning. They loved our new environment and were pleased to meet some of our staff whom we recruited from the recent job fair in Watford.
It was fantastic to show off our lovely new nursery and talk about how we are implementing the 30 hours free childcare pilot for Watford. We gave our visitors a tour of our new extension at Watford nursery, and walked them through all the wonderful activities and initiatives we do! They were all extremely positive about how lovely our Watford nursery is!
Extra capacity at Watford nursery
With the work we have had done at Watford nursery, we have been able to create extra nursery places. In our baby room we have created 6 extra spaces (for babies under 1), in our Poppy room we now have created 12 extra spaces (age 1-2s) and in our Bluebells room we have added 3 extra spaces (over 2’s).
