Around our rooms
We have been decorating Little Blossoms room in preparation for Christmas. We will be doing lots of Christmas based activities and arts and crafts which will be going with the children to decorate home!
Thank you to all the parents that attended parents evening. It was really nice talking to you all about how well your children are doing.
Please let us know if your child does anything new at home, such as their first steps or words, as we love hearing about these new achievements.
In Little Stars we have been updating our display boards and enjoying playing on our new slide outside on the decking. We have been working on our speech and developing our language skills and learning lots of new words. Little Stars have been enjoying messy and creative activities such as gloop, playdough and painting and our dressing up days.
We would like to welcome Joseph who will be joining us in December.
In Butterflies we have been talking about staying warm as the colder weather draws in. We have also been talking about the importance of washing our hands after sneezing or wiping our noses.
We will be practicing our Christmas songs over the next couple of weeks so we are ready for our Christmas production.
Butterflies are looking at cold places around the world and the animals that live in these cold places.
We are going to be looking at the story of Jesus and will be doing lots and lots of Christmas related activities, which we love doing!
Thank you to all the parents that came to our parents evening; it was lovely to chat with you all and give you feedback on how well your children have been developing.
Rainbows have been celebrating Diwali and bonfire night. We would like to say a special “thank you” to Jaia’s mum, Laura and Uncle Sanil who made Diwali special by coming into Rainbows and bringing some lovely books, artifacts and stories about India and Diwali.
The children in Rainbows have been showing a lot of interest in their play around animals and pets. We have made our very own Pet Centre and have a lot of pretend puppies, monkeys and kitten visitors.
Christmas is just around the corner so we will be talking about the story of baby Jesus and will be practicing the songs they will be singing to their families on 18th December.
